Upbringing

Eyat was born in Lebanon amidst the Lebanese war. With the escalating violence and instability, her family fled their country to the USA. Her childhood was anything but ordinary, as she often accompanied her father to his classes at Pratt Institute in New York City. Her family lived on the university campus so her playground was all the sculptures which she climbed on. She actively participated in all the art workshops organized for children by Pratt. Eyat’s family moved to Ohio for some years before returning back to homeland as soon as the war was over in 1990. Shifting to a new timeline, she could also catch up on learning Arabic.

Education and Projects

Eyat graduated from Lebanon Evangelical School for boys and girls in Baabda. And from the Lebanese University, obtaining her MA in Interior Architecture. In 2013 she moved to London to study Art at Chelsea College of Arts, University of the Arts London – UAL.

Eyat’s very first experience was as a site engineer in 2006 for the Four Seasons Hotel Beirut, designed by the famous Pierre – Yves Rochon. Eyat was involved in high-end projects with clients and local studios, typically designing luxurious and upscale spaces in the heart of Beirut, Paris, London and Dubai. Alongside design, she gained practical and on-site experience by supervising, coordinating, and delegating craftsmanship.

Finale

As a creative pioneer, Eyat immerses in a daily birthing of questions. The mind intertwined with the soul. She forsakes the load of the known in order to fly. Longing for the marvel of the unknown.
